Wine cellars are often associated with high energy consumption. To address this, we designed a bespoke wine cellar that emphasizes water recycling and natural temperature control, significantly reducing electricity usage. The cellar is constructed with natural stone, which effectively absorbs and retains moisture to maintain a consistent environment.


Overflow water from the swimming pool, located above the wine cellar, is channeled through ceiling grills. The filtered water flows over the wine bottles, walls, and partitions, helping to sustain a cool, regulated temperature for the wine. The water then collects in a trench at the base of the cellar wall, where it is recirculated back to the pool, creating an efficient, continuous cycle.
 Additionally, the external space includes a bar counter and seating area and landscape, offering a tranquil and natural ambiance for enjoying drinks.
